Eternal Storms Software has released Briefly 1.0 for Mac OS X. The app allows users to create still motion videos — videos where photos are shown only for the fraction of a second — with just a few clicks and share them on video services like YouTube and Vimeo.

Users can import photos from their hard drive, flickr or Instagram and add a soundtrack from their iTunes library. Briefly then does the rest. It can output video up to 1080p or it can choose the best resolution automatically or eliminate the occurrence of black borders around the photos.

Briefly requires Mac OS X 10.6 or higher. It’s available exclusively on the Mac App Store (http://tinyurl.com/knv32t4) for the introductory price of US$$4.99 (the regular price is $7.99). A free 15-day trial is available at the Eternal Storms web site (http://eternalstorms.at).
