Available in both ad-supported, free and ad-free, paid versions, the app, developed specifically for kids 2 -9, allows parents and children to color the wings of six animated animals that react with sounds and movements when coloring their wings.

Tanla Solutions has released HumStar 1.0 for the iPhone. The free app allows users to show off their humming skills and challenge friends to guess the tunes.

Demansol Technologies has introduced Valley of Death 1.0 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. In the US$0.99 game, you have to shoot the deadly monsters in order to save your city.

Deemedya has launched The CATch! 1.0, for iOS. In the free game, Grandma, the dog, nasty crows and others are after you, a cat with stolen sausage links. To escape you must leap across rooftops, cross power lines and dash along ledges.

Edmund Pevensey has unveiled Seven Poets and the Assassin’s Secret, a free, realtime, serialized novel for iOS. The book tells the story of seven children who escape from terrorists behind an attack at the London games.

Chad Valley and Parragon Books have teamed up for Chad Valley Playtime! for the iPad. The free app features interactive read-along stories, jigsaw puzzles, mix-and-match games, coloring activities, and musical games for children.

Luigi Savagnone has published I Say Goodbye for the iPad. The $0.99 ebook tells the story of two girls who, due to a dispute with their parents, leave Borneo and move to Italy. In the story, the girls encounter many difficulties and discover how difficult it is to face life alone. I Say Goodbye is intertwined with videos and photos of historic sites in Italy.

FeeFiFoFun and Beatles illustrator Alan Aldridge have created Make Me Music 1.0 for iOS. The $1.99 app allows kids to make their own music and play along to songs. The animated sound garden features 24 exotic and unusual instruments including a Marimba and a Didgeridoo as well as “found sounds” such as pots, pans and water glasses, plus 12 rhythm palettes.
