Reggie Ashworth has released AppDelete 4.0, a update of his application deletion utility for Mac OS X. The upgrade has a new user interface and a revised workflow. It’s also been optimized for Mac OS X Lion and OS X Mountain Lion.

Via drag and drop, AppDelete will uninstall software titles along with all of the associated items. You’ll no longer have to hunt through your system to find and delete these items manually.

You can drag any item that can be uninstalled onto AppDelete: applications, widgets, preference panes, plug-ins, screensavers, etc. When the preview screen appears you can uncheck any items you would like to exclude.

AppDelete 4.0 costs US$7.99 for a single user license. Upgrades from Version 2/AppDelete Lite are $3.99 (USD). A demo is available at the product web site (http://www.reggieashworth.com/appdelete).
