Naboo has introduced iVigilo Smartcam 1.0 for Mac OS X (10.7 and higher). It turns a Mac into an IP camera with motion and face detection. iVigilo Smartcam costs US$2.99 and is available worldwide through the Mac App Store in the Video category.
Entering the IP address of the camera into a web browser will display the camera feed on any computer or mobile device worldwide. iViglio Smartcam provides a home or office security system, which can be set to email an alert when a motion or face is detected.
The motion sensitivity level can be configured for specific situations. Once a motion or face is detected, an alert can be sent via email.
