The OtterBox Defender Series utilizes a built-in screen protector, polycarbonate shell and silicone jacket to surround the iPod touch, providing drop, shock and dust protection. Silicone port covers keep out dust and dirt while still allowing for full device functionality.
The Commuter Series provides protection with a thin polycarbonate outer shell and silicone inner layer. A self-adhering screen film keeps the touchscreen free of scratches and silicone plugs keep the access ports free of dust and dirt.
