Analyst: iTV will be 42-55 inches, cost $1,500-$2,000

In a note to clients — as reported by “AppleInsider” (http://www.appleinsider.com) — Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster says a 55-inch Apple-branded TV (the rumored “iTV”) is a certainly — it’s just a matter of when it will be released.

He predicts the iTV will be 42 to 55 inches with prices ranging from US$1,500 to $2,000. The analyst says it will add 4-8% to Apple’s annual revenues.

So when will we see it? Munster expects the iTV will be unveiled later this year and will hit the market about six months after it’s announced.
