Pomfort has released LiveGrade, a look and color management solution for the right image at the filmset. It requires Mac OS X 10.6 or higher, costs US$479 and is available at the Pomfort web site (http://pomfort.com/livegrade/).
With this brand new product Pomfort enables DITs, DOPs and camera assistants to create and interactively manipulate looks of HD-SDI images coming directly from a variety of professional film cameras. LiveGrade works in conjunction with Blackmagic Design’s HD Link devices and supports the two grading modes “CDL Grade” and “Alexa Looks.”
