Akitio has expanded the company’s personal cloud server product line with the addition of the MyCloud Mini personal cloud server.
Following in the steps of Akitio’s previously released MyCloud Duo, the MyCloud Mini offers users remote web-based access and a file browser with a built-in media player to manage and view files in the Web browser or on an iPhone or iPad. By simply registering the device, users may login through Akitio’s Web portal or the iPhone app and will have immediate access to their files.
The MyCloud Mini allows users to create their own personal cloud to share files with friends and family. In addition, users can stream content within their local network to any available UPnP-AV and DLNA compatible devices. Data can also be uploaded to the Gigabit network drive and shared from multiple workstations via SMB or FTP connection.
