MakeMusic has released Finale 2012 (http://www.finalemusic.com/default.aspx), a new version of the Mac OS X music notation software that lets you create, publish and share music.
The new release introduces ScoreManager, which intelligently controls the way music looks and sounds, according to Karen van Lith, MakeMusic president and CEO. Finale 2012 also includes Unicode font support, additional Garritan sounds, and several advances facilitating greater collaboration.
Finale 2012 costs US$600 for new customers ($350 for academic users). A site license for five or more users is $150 per seat.
