Here are the latest rumors circulating in the Apple blogosphere:

“AppleInsider” (http://www.appleinsider.com) says that Apple is so excited over the upcoming Lion update that it’s freezing the introduction of new MacBook Airs, Mac minis and Thunderbolt-equipped Apple Cinema Display until the OS upgrade arrives in July. I think that’s true; let’s just hope that Lion and the accompanying hardware upgrades will arrive in early, not late, July.

Final Cut Pro teacher and trainer Larry Jordan told a group of users at the LA FCP Users group meeting on Wednesday that “Final Cut Pro X 1.0 will not be ready for professional use.” “While that statement might be accepted in the context of a completely new application, for the huge installed base of professional users who have invested much time and money to build an FCP based infrastructure, this confirmation won’t come as welcome news,” says “Hollywood Reinvented” (http://macte.ch/o8dpg). I find that a big confusing. We have iMovie and Final Cut Express — so if Final Cut Pro X 1.0 isn’t for pro users, who is it for?

According to several reports, Apple’s 2012 Worldwide Developer Conference will run June 10 through June 12, with an opening keynote on Monday, June 10. Makes sense.
