Apple has announced the winners of its Design Awards (http://developer.apple.com/wwdc/ada/) in conjunction with the 2011 Worldwide Developer Conference. The awards recognize “outstanding achievement and excellence in iPhone, iPad and Mac design” in four categories: Student, iPhone, Mac, and iPad.
In the Student category, the winners were Grades 2 by Tapity, Pennant by Vargatron, and Pulse News Reader by Alphonso Labs. iPhone category winners were Chillingo for Cut the Rope, Shotzoom for Golfscape GPS Rangefinder, and Chair Entertainment for Infinity Blade.
iPad apps honored were Osmos by Hemisphere Games, Our Choice by Push Pop Press, and Djay by Algoriddim. Mac Design winners were Capo from SuperMega UltraGroovy, Pixelmator from Pixelmator and Anomaly Warzone Earth from 11-bit Studios.
