JixiPix (http://www.jixipix.com) has introduced PhotoArtista — Haiku 1.0 for Mac OS X (10.6 and higher), their second app in the PhotoArtista series. It costs US$7.99 and is available worldwide through the Mac App Store in the Graphics & Design category.
PhotoArtista — Haiku is a “creative media that incorporates traditional techniques as well as the non-traditional to create a unique painting filled with movement and meaning,” according to the folks at JixiPix. The Mac version adds borders, refined outlines, a simpler user interface, and fast processing of large images.
PhotoArtista — Haiku incorporates traditional techniques as well as the non-traditional such as digital photography, and vintage papers to create a painting filled with “movement and meaning.” It offers control over the outline, color, detail, and paper and includes two painting styles: Abstract and Stylized .
PhotoArtista — Haiku offers the ability to save presets to replay on separate photo. There’s also a randomize button to randomly choose a unique look for each photo.
