Houdah Software has released Tembo 1.3, an update of the friendly” find utility for Mac OS X. The new version sports:
° An option to specify the folder to search;
° Support of quotes to specify a phrase to search for;
° The ability to compute total sizes for folders;
° Shows begin dates for events registered with iCal;
° Wildcard support to filters in Messages & Bookmarks;
° AppleScript access to search results;
° Mac OS X Service to search a selected folder.
Tembo is designed to make the searching (and finding) of files, mail messages, bookmarks and more as easy as possible. It may list up to 2.500 search results within each group. There are filters appropriate for the context designed to help you sort through the list of results. Messages, for example, may be filtered by subject, sender and recipient.
Tembo is sold exclusively through the Mac App Store for US$14.99 and requires Mac OS X 10.6.6 or higher.. A demo version is available from the product web site (http://www.houdah.com/tembo/).
