Synium Software has announced Screenium 1.3.3 (http://www.syniumsoftware.com/screenium/), an update of their screencast recording application for the Mac. It requires Mac OS X 10.6.6, is now available in the Mac App Store for US$14.99 until Jan. 16. After that, it will go back to the regular price ($29.99)

Screenium allows users to capture anything on a Mac’s screen in order to produce tutorial videos or capture presentations. You can structure your lessons with chapter marks and text overlays, highlight your mouse movement and mouse clicks with Screenium’s Mouse Visualization feature.

What’s more, you can uUse any QuickTime-compatible webcam to include a video feed of yourself or point it at your hands, a whiteboard, flip chart or anything else related to your tutorial. Once finished, export your tutorial in any QuickTime video format for uploading it to video sharing web sites like YouTube, for sharing the video over file servers or simply for editing in Final Cut or iMovie.
