Macware has updated Logo Design Studio Pro (http://www.macwareinc.com/products/LDSPro/overview.html), a vector based logo design application for Mac OS X, to version 2.0. The upgrade doubles the number of included logo templates and SVG graphic objects, adds new design options, improves overall usability, and fixes all bugs reported from the previous version.

Chronos (http://www.chronosnet.com) has updated SOHO Business Cards, the business card software for Mac OS X, to version 3.0. New featurs include:

° 70-plus smart templates;

° An artwork browser that manages artwork and makes it searchable;

° A font preview mode for previewing fonts in a list or animated fashion;

° Curved & spiral text;

° A Paste and Match Style feature to match the style of text nearby;

° The ability to hold down the space bar and drag the mouse to scroll the canvas;

Only days after Smile’s release of PDFpen 5, TidBITS Publishing has published “Take Control of PDFpen 5” by Michael E. Cohen.
