Motorola sues Apple for patent infringement

Another day, another lawsuit. Motorola says its subsidiary, Motorola Mobility, has filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) alleging that Apple’s iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and certain Mac computers infringe Motorola patents. Motorola Mobility also filed patent infringement complaints against Apple in the Northern District of Illinois and the Southern District of Florida.

The company has unveiled Logitech Revue with Google TV, a compact, plug-and-play companion box with its Logitech Keyboard Controller, which together provide control over the Google TV experience and home-entertainment devices.

Mariner Software serves up MacGourmet 3.0

Mariner Software has updated MacGourmet Deluxe (http://macgourmet.com/), its recipe and cooking software for Mac OS X, to version 3.0. The new version offers an entirely reworked user interface, as well as significant feature additions and updates which include an all new Recipe Import Assistant, Chef View and Shopping List functionality.

MacGourmet Deluxe 3.0 combines recipe and wine collection with simplified organization.

Recently, Apple released a new Apple TV In this week’s poll, we want to know if you’re happy with its features. The poll can be found at the right hand side of our home page, below the Macsimum Opinion column.

In our last poll, we asked which of the new iPods you planned on buying. Forty-five percent of you said none of them, 35% said the new iPod touch, 25% percent said the new iPod nano, 4% said the (unchanged) iPod classic, and 1% said the new iPod shuffle.
