TRTL BOT (http://www.trtlbot.com) has released its TRTL Stand 4 and Minimalist 4 multifunctional, eco-friendly iPhone 4 cases. They’re designed in the US using 100% recycled plastic.

The TRTL Stand 4 (pictured) costs US$29.99 and is a multimedia optimizer, viewing stand/case that lets you prop up your iPhone in several modes; portrait (ideal for FaceTime), landscape (good for watching videos) and Tripod (good for timed photos).

The $34.99 Minimalist 4 is a wallet substitute/case combo. It can hold up to three ID or credit cards, as well as an iPhone 4.

MegaSeg update works better with Magic Mouse

Fidelity Media has released MegaSeg 5.5.1 (http://www.megaseg.com), an update of the Mac-based DJ and radio automation software. According to Fidelity Media Founder Jason Cox, the new version — a free update for registered users of version 5.x — contacts improvements to mixing with Apple’s Magic Mouse, better performance during Time Machine backups, a fix for reading AAC metadata created by Sound Grinder and Logic Pro, and several other refinements.

TextExpander for Mac OS X adds backup, restore options

SmileOnMyMac (http://www.smileonmymac.com) has updated TextExpander, a Mac OS X utility that lets users define abbreviations for frequently-used text strings and images, to version 3.2. The update adds backup and restore options.

Users can keep multiple backup files from which to restore snippets in case of data loss. Backup can be made automatic. Restore options have been added to the File menu.

AppDelete for Mac OS X updated to version 3.1.4

Reggie Ashworth has updated AppDelete (http://reggie.ashworth.googlepages.com/appdelete), an application deleting app for Mac OS X, to version 3.1.4. It’s a maintenance update.

Via drag ‘n drop, AppDelete will delete any chosen app with all of its associated items that belong to that application. You’ll no longer have to hunt through their system to find and delete these items manually.
