Elasty 2.0 movie recording app for Snow Leopard available

Creaceed (http://www.creaceed.com) has released version of Elasty, an update of the toolbox for people who like recording movies. It’s for Mac OS X 10.6 (“Snow Leopard”) only.

Elasty gives access to features pretty common in image processing but quite unusual in movie processing, according to the folks at Creaceed. Features include stabilization, motion tracking, special effects, screen breaks, retiming (acceleration adn slow motion) and the ability to rotate, flip, crop and separate rendering for sound and images.

OCRKit for the Mac, iPhone gets updates

ExactCODE has updated the Mac version of OCRKit (http://ocrkit.com/), as well as the relating equivalent  OCRKit Mobile for iPhone. The Mac version features 11 new OCR languages, advanced layout recognition for RTF output and an improved OCR recognition of special characters.

The mobile version for iPhone includes several user interface improvements, all new interface translations as well as vastly improved OCR recognition, accuracy and stability. OCRKit uses the OCR engine from ExactScan Pro, a Mac OS X scanning solution with built-in drivers for over 200 document scanners.
