Macgamestore has announced Murder, She Wrote (http://www.macgamestore.com/detail.php?ProductID=1410) for the Mac. It costs US$19.95; a demo is available for download.

The game was developed by casual games developer and publisher, Legacy Interactive. Murder, She Wrote is an interactive “seek and find, who-dun-it” mystery adventure with minigames in every scene. You play as the novelist/criminologist Jessica Fletcher and solve each of the five cases by investigating murders using hidden object and light adventure gameplay.

Valve’s game store apparently Steaming to the Mac

According to the upcoming April 2010 issue of GameInformer” — as noted here (http://www.techtree.com/India/News/Portal_2_confirmed_for_Mac_Platform/551-109762-585.html), Valve is apparently bringing Steam, its Windows game store, to the Mac.

Valve is an entertainment software and technology company founded in 1996 and based in Bellevue, Washington. The company’s titles include Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, Team Fortress, and Portal.

Microvision Showwx laser pico projector available for sale to U.S. customers

Microvision (http://www.microvision.com), a developer of ultra-miniature projection display products, has announced the opening of its web store for U.S. customers for the Showwx laser pico projector.

Microvision plans to begin taking on-line orders through its web store at 12 noon (Eastern) starting on March 24 for the “Made for iPod” device. Microvision is introducing two product offerings in the U.S. — the Standard Edition Showwx and the Limited Edition Showwx promotional bundle.

Tension Software has updated Mac Restart X (http://pomola.com/products_macrestart/macrestart.html) — a Mac OS X app that can restart a Mac on a regular basis or one time only at a specific date and time or at launch using it via Apple iCal or other applications — to version 1.5. The upgrade adds a Today button in the “Restart on Date” section and an Open Page option in the “Restart from Web Page” section.
