The latest edition of “MacNotables” (http://www.macnotables.com/wordpress/), a podcast that serves as home to Mac personalities who will comment on the latest news and opinions in the Mac community, is available.

Mac guru Ted Landau is the proud owner of a new MacBook Air, and provides some
insight into the benefits and limitations of the SSD drive, the unibody construction and how it compares to the PC netbook market. While not for everyone, Landau explains how the Air compares and compliments Mac desktops, other Mac laptops and even the iPad.

Then he examines the Mac App Store announcement and what he thinks its impact will be on developers and users alike, why he thinks sooner is better to establish an app
store presence, and why he isn’t necessarily happy about it all.

“MacNotables” panelists include Christopher Breen, Bryan Chaffin, Jim Dalrymple, Adam Engst, Tonya Engst, Andy Ihnatko, Joiner, Ted Landau, Jason Snell, Bob LeVitus, Dan Frakes and Yours Truly. Not all panelists can make all shows due to scheduling conflicts.
