“The MUG Event Calendar” has a wide variety of topics coming up this week.

Greg Scown of Smile will show off their company’s Mac and iOS software to one California group, while another will host the Cocoatech team, who will demonstrate Path Finder. A Georgia group will enjoy a presentation from a computer historian, while groups in California and Arizona will discuss genealogy-related topics. Also on this week’s agenda are a COO’s perspective on the Mac, iPhoto, Photoshop Elements, social media and more.

“The MUG Event Calendar” can be found at “The MUG Center” (http://www.mugcenter.com), an online resource for Mac User Groups. MUGs are good places for making new friends in the Mac community, imProving your computing skills, finding solutions to technical Problems, and perhaps locating a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s MUG page (http://www.apple.com/usergroups/).
