The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) says registration is open for the 2011 International CES, the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow, scheduled for Jan. 6-9, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Registration for the 2011 International CES is free to industry professionals through Sept. 30. A registration fee of US$100 will go into effect starting Oct. 1, and the fee will be $200 effective 5:01 p.m. (Eastern) Dec. 31. Hotel room rates in Las Vegas, currently at some of the lowest rates in years, are available through a special block set aside for CES registrants. Attendees, exhibitors and media can register at .

The International CES attracts more than 120,000 executives, retail buyers, content providers, entertainment executives, venture capitalists, engineers, government officials and media from more than 130 countries.
