I’ve reviewed so many iPad cases and sleeves that they’ve all started blurring together. Until I received the US$19.99 Kensington Sling Bag for iPad (http://us.kensington.com/html/17711.htm), the first such bag I’ve seen up close and personal for Apple’s new table device. I’m sure others are on the way, but this is an inexpensive, no-frills and solid product.

The Sling Bag is an over-the-shoulder messenger bag that lets you slide in your iPad, sling it over your shoulder and head out. There are two interior compartments: one for your iPad and other for essentials such as headphones, a car charger, etc. There’s also a larger exterior pocket where you can stash more stuff. You could also use the Sling Bag to carry a netbook, but who wants one of those when there’s the iPad, right?

The Kensington bag has adjustable Velcro straps that are wide enough to make them comfortable. You can adjust the shoulder strap to fit your shoulder and chest size. The sling bag is black and looks good without being flashy so is perfect for us guys (no man purse jokes).
