Even though the iPad reigns supreme on “The MUG Event Calendar,” there are plenty of other topics on the week’s agenda.

Steve Sande of the Unofficial Apple Weblog will visit a group in Colorado, Michael Rubin of Nikon will show off their hardware to a New Jersey group, and a group in Ohio will celebrate their 8th anniversary. The Final Cut Pro SuperMeet will be held at the NAB show in Las Vegas, and will feature appearances by Apple, Adobe, Avid and more.

Other than the iPad, topics on this week’s schedule include Adobe InDesign, Ning, Avery DesignPro, social networks, digital Imaging, medical web sites, Apple photo books and more.

MUGs are good places for making new friends in the Mac community, imProving your computing skills, finding solutions to technical Problems, and perhaps locating a good deal on used hardware.
