When Apple CEO Steve Jobs said the iPad would have an “unlimited” 3G plan at the product’s unveiling, a lot of observers were skeptical. However, ’tis true.

AT&T’s Mark Siegel told Gearlog (http://www.gearlog.com/2010/04/att_ipad_3g_is_truly_unlimited.php) that the iPad’s US$30-a-month unlimited 3G plan is truly unlimited.. AT&T is also offering a $15-a-month plan that’s capped at 250MB.

The Wi-Fi + 3G models of iPad will be available in May in the US and selected countries for a suggested retail price of US$629 for the 16GB model, $729 for the 32GB model and $829 for the 64GB model. The iPad is sold in the US through the Apple Store, Apple’s retail stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers. International pricing and worldwide availability will be announced at a later date.
