The Omni Group (http://www.omnigroup.com/) has released version 5.2.2 of OmniGraffle, an upgrade of the Mac OS X diagramming application. The update adds a preference to disable multitouch trackpad gestures and a hidden preference to disable scroll wheel zooming for Magic Mouse users who want to avoid using momentum scrolling.

Version 5.2.2 also enables Option-Command-click to select different Bézier control points where multiple Bézier lines are connected. What’s more, OmniGraffle 5.2.2 provides many improvements to shared layers and Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard”) compatibility, along with fixes to a number of crashes when working with Visio files, PDFs, and subgraphs.

OmniGraffle 5.2.2 is available for US$99.95, though it’s a free update for registered users of version 5.x. Upgrades from OmniGraffle 4 are available for $39.95. OmniGraffle Professional 5 is available for $199.95 with upgrades from OmniGraffle Professional 4 costing $74.95. It requires Mac OS X 10.5 or 10.6.
