MakeMusic updates Finale Notepad, Finale Reader

MakeMusic (http://www.finalemusic.com) has announced the simultaneous
release of Finale NotePad 2010 and an updated, free-of-charge Finale
Reader. Both music notation software packages support current
operating systems and provide compatibility with files created with
Finale 2010, MakeMusic’s music notation software program.

notation. Available as a download for US$9.95, or purchased on disc

Mark/Space announces Mac synchronization support for Android

Mark/Space (http://www.markspace.com/android), creator of desktop and
handheld synchronization software, announced that they’re developing
an all-in-one desktop sync solution for phones powered by the Android
OS, such as the T-Mobile myTouch and HTC Hero.

The Missing Sync for Android will synchronize contacts and transfer
media files between an Android phone and a computer running Mac OS X,
Windows XP or Windows Vista, says Mark/Space CEO Brian Hall.

Blue Microphones announces Eyeball 2.0 web cam

Blue Microphones (http://www.bluemic.com), which specializes in
microphone technology and design, has introduced the Eyeball 2.0, its
next generation web camera with a built-in microphone. Featuring a
higher-quality lens and 2-megapixel camera, Eyeball 2.0 is a
plug-and-play webcam with professional-class, digital audio,
according to William Merchan, vice president, Sales, Blue Microphones.

The Eyeball 2.0 sports a resolution at 1600 x 1200 pixels and an
optical sensor. It features driverless installation for plug-and-play
use with either Mac or PC systems.

VPN Tracker ready for Snow Leopard

Equinux (http://www.equnix.com) has released VPN Tracker 6.0, the
newest version of its IPSec-based VPN client for Mac OS X. The
upgrade supports the new Internet protocol IPv6 in addition to 64-bit
mode in Mac OS X 10.6 (“Snow Leopard”).

With help from a simplified certificate manager, system
administrators can distribute and update current security
certificates with out having to make any changes on the side of the
client.

Vicomsoft InterGate Policy Manager adds Snow Leopard compatibility

Vicomsoft (http://www.vicomsoft.com) has released InterGate Policy
Manager 9.3, an update to their server based web filter, app filter
and network monitoring tool for Mac OS X. InterGate Policy Manager is
now Mac OS X 10.6 (“Snow Leopard”) compatible and also available for
purchase via the eSellerate system.

The software provides a granular level of filtering for web content,
peer to peer, telephony and instant messaging apps, comprehensive
logging and more. It’s centrally managed, so requires no client
computer software.
