Ingres Corp., an open source database management company, has
released Ingres Database 9.3, the latest version of the company’s
flagship open source database product.

DocAuto (http://www.docauto.com), a provider of software solutions
for Autonomy iManage WorkSite, has announced enhancements to its
OutiM Server e-mail management application.

These enhancements include the ability to use pattern matching in
Subject and Content filters, now with support for a broader set of
wildcards.

RadTech (http://www.radtech.com) has released ClearCal anti-glare
film for the glossy displays on the 17-inch MacBook Pro and the
17-inch and 20-inch iMacs. They’re US$19.95 each.

ClearCal AG (anti-glare) films improve the viewability of glossy
glass displays when used in brightly lit or outdoor environments.
ClearCal films combine a tempered 2-mil matte finished,
anti-reflection layer, permanently laminated to a 3-mil flexible
transparent base.

Sonoma Wire Works (http://www.sonomawireworks.com), makers of
RiffWorks recording software and the FourTrack and InstantDrummer
iPhone apps, has acquired the Discrete Drums
(http://www.discretedrums.com) brand and product line of drum
recording libraries.

This move will ensure the continuation and expansion of drum library
products for both Discrete Drums and Sonoma Wire Works customers,
according to Doug Wright, president of Discrete Drums.

Ultrasone Inc. (http://www.ultrasone.com), distributor for German
headphone manufacturer Ultrasone AG, has released its flagship HFI
Series headphone: the HFI-2400. It’s a black and silver, open-backed
headphone.

The HFI-2400s are the flagship headphones in Ultrasone’s HFI Series.
Its 40mm gold-plated driver provides the finest of three-dimensional
sound thanks to Ultrasone’s patented S-Logic technology, according to
the folks at Ultrasone.
