Excel Software (http://www.excelsoftware.com/) is shipping RbApp 2.3
for REALbasic developers. RbApp is a collection of reusable classes
for developing Mac OS X and Windows software using the REALbasic
programming language from REAL Software.

RbApp 2.3 has new properties, methods and events within some
components. The new release has been updated to support the latest
2009 R4 release of REALbasic from Real Software.

RbApp 2.3 supports REALbasic 2005, 2006 and 2007. It’s been tested on
PowerPC and Intel Macs and Windows 98 through Vista.

Strider Software has debuted TypeStyler (http://www.typestyler.com)
for Mac OS X; it’s an update to the Mac design software. It costs
US$179.95, and a fully functional, 60-day demo is available for
download.

The updated typographical design environment is Universal Binary so
runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. It works with Mac OS X
10.5 (“Leopard”) and 10.6 (“Snow Leopard”).

Innovelis has released CordFits (http://www.CordFits.com), which
enables headphone cord length customization and tangle-free cord
storage.

Headphone designers include extra cord length to ensure the cord is
never too short. This approach ensures the cord is never too short,
but it often forces the cord to be too long, says Wes Schwie of
Innovelis.

iSkin (http://www.iskin.com) has released the next generation of its
ProTouch keyboard protectors.

The new line-up — which includes ProTouch Classic, FX and Vibes —
provides protection against food spills, dust, key wear and more,
while embedded Microban antimicrobial product protection helps
inhibit the growth of odor and stain causing bacteria on the product,
according to the folks at iSkin.

Additionally, a newly re-engineered design optimizes the way each key
is protected, allowing a comfortable, non-obtrusive typing
experience, they add.
