VVI (http://www.vvidget.org) has released version 10.6.1 of Vvidget,
a point and click graphing solution for Mac OS X. The upgrade adds
the Quadratic Lab to help students explore the quadratic equation.

Native Instruments has announced Traktor Kontrol X1
(www.native-instruments.com/TraktorKontrolx1.info), a performance
controller that gives DJs immediate hands-on control over various
aspects of their performance. It integrates with the latest Traktor
generation and can purportedly control any MIDI-compatible DJ
software on the market.

Geomatica for Mac OS X adds GIS imaging tools

PCI Geomatics, a developer of geo-imaging software and systems, has
announced the availability of an upgrade to its remote sensing and
image processing software. Geomatica 10.3 is the latest version of
the image-centric desktop software and now includes imaging tools for
GIS.

Geomatica is PCI Geomatics’ set of software for remote sensing,
digital photogrammetry, raster spatial analysis, mosaicking and
automated production workflows. Version 10.3 includes support for
ESRI ArcGIS Server Image Extension, as well as multi-sensor support
through OrthoEngine for ArcGIS users.

ideo encoding software application. It’s Mac and
Windows compatible.

According to the folks at Sorenson, Squeeze 6
