AssistiveWare previews iPhone text-to-speech and new Mac voices

At the 2009 BETT conference, AssistiveWare
(http://www.assistiveware.com) will preview Proloquo2Go, which uses
Acapela Group’s forthcoming iPhone text-to-speech to provide a
full-fledged communication solution on the iPhone and iPod touch for
people who can’t speak.

Also previewed at BETT will be the upcoming version of Infovox iVox,
which introduces new British, Italian, Greek, Norwegian and Russian
voices for the Mac. BETT, the world’s largest educational technology

Synectics releases Business version of BackJack backup service

New iPhone game designed for cat lovers

GiantCrayon Games has released ShiveringKittens
(http://www.shiveringkittens.com), a new iPhone game in which players
rescue kittens from the ice blocks that formed around them in a tough
Minnesota winter. It’s available at the Apple App Store for US$2.99.

Players free the kittens by arranging falling blocks in the right
order. The more ice blocks players connect, the more kittens they
rescue and the more points they earn.
