iFixit launches iMac parts store, free iMac repair manuals

iFixit has released over 200 repair guides, covering every Mac mini
and most iMacs produced by Apple since 2004. All iMac and Mac mini
repair manuals are immediately available for free on
http://www.iFixit.com.

The repair manuals include in-depth disassembly guides, model
identification tips, troubleshooting techniques, and upgrade
information. The 241 new repair guides use 1,452 photos to
communicate each step of the repair.

Quark launches new web-to-print service for small businesses

Quark has launched QuarkPromote.com (http://www.quarkpromote.com), a
new online service that helps entrepreneurs and small businesses in
the U.S. create their own professional marketing materials that can
be picked up at a nearby neighborhood printer or received by mail in
just a few days.

The service allows people with no previous design or printing
experience to customize professionally designed templates for

Autodesk hosts Eleventh 3December global celebration

Autodesk, Inc., will host its annual 3December
event to celebrate 3D computer graphics, and the
artists who create them. Running from Dec. 1-10,
the event will include live and virtual
activities that connect thousands of 3D artists
from around the world. Attendees will be able to
share their work, learn from top digital
entertainment professionals, and network with
other artists.
