Flash on Tap adds iPhone workshop

Flash on Tap(/a), a conference created for Flash designers and
developers by Flash designers and developers, has added an iPhone
workshop. Flash on Tap 2009 will be held at the Boston Park Plaza
Hotel and Towers in Boston May 28-30.

“From Flash to iPhone” will be led by Flash developer Keith Peters.
It’s one of five pre-conference workshops available on Thursday, May
28, prior to the opening party at 7 pm.

FlightTrack Pro flies to iPhone, iPod touch

Appropos Mobile and online trip planning service TripIt have
announced FlightTrack Pro, the next generation of the flight tracker
for the iPhone and iPod touch. Travelers simply forward their airline
confirmation emails to plans@tripit.com, and FlightTrack Pro
automatically provides real-time flight cancellations, delays, gate
changes, route maps, 10-day weather forecasts and more.

FlightTrack Pro is the first application to synchronize TripIt
itineraries to its service on iPhone and iPod touch, according to Ben
Kazez, founder, Appropos Mobile.

Missing Sync for Blackberry updated to version 2.0

Mark/Space has updated The Missing Sync for Blackberry
(http://www.markspace.com/missingsync_blackberry.php/), a tool for
syncing between BlackBerry devices from Research In Motion (including
the BlackBerry Pearl smartphone) and Mac OS X’s Address Book and iCal
applications and the corresponding applications on BlackBerry
handsets, to version 2.0.

The upgrade adds new wireless sync capabilities. Now, you can sync
information between your Mac and BlackBerry wirelessly via Bluetooth,
without cables. Plus, Proximity Sync technology automates syncing.

Mobis Technology (http://www.just-mobile.com), a manufacturer of
mobile accessories, has released Just Mobile Xtand Pro, a stand for
raising your notebook’s display to an ergonomic eye level. It costs
US$89.90.

“The Xtand Pro is designed to relieve wrist and neck pain and has the
additional benefit of looking great with a similar metal finish to
the MacBook,” says Erich Huang of Mobis Technology.

Made of solid aluminum, it matches the metal finish of the Apple
laptop.
