more than 20 QuarkAlliance partners have been
recognized as QuarkXPress 8 Certified Training
Experts.

As QuarkXPress 8 Certified Training Experts,
these QuarkAlliance training providers not only
receive all the benefits of membership in the
QuarkAlliance, but have been taught QuarkXPress 8
in detail by Quark’s own internal trainers, the
company says.

Mark/Space releases Fliq Docs

Mark/Space (http://www.markspace.com) has released a free app, Fliq
Docs, which works with the Mac and PC versions of Fliq to allow
iPhone and iPod touch owners to take files and documents wherever
they go and share them with others.

You can transfer via Wi-Fi almost any type of file to the iPhone or
iPod touch by using the Mac or PC desktop versions of Fliq.

Livescribe releases Desktop for Mac 1.0

Livescribe (http://www.livescribe.com) is shipping Livescribe Desktop
for Mac version 1.0 (http://www.livescribe.com/install). Since its
public beta release in November last year, the Livescribe Desktop for
Mac software has been downloaded by over 20,000 Pulse smartpen owners.

With Livescribe Desktop for Mac 1.0, notes and audio recordings can
be transferred from a Pulse smartpen to a Mac computer, where they
can be digitally stored, searched, and shared. The Livescribe Desktop
for Mac software is compatible with all Intel-based Macs running Mac
OS X 10.5.5 or higher.
