embeds handwritten notes and audio recordings as Flash videos, called
“pencasts,” within any web site or blog. Like podcasts, videos,
tweets and digital photos, pencasts are a new online communication
tool, allowing anyone to digitally share notes, ideas, drawings and
conversations from pen and paper online for the first time.

The Pulse smartpen is a computer in a pen that captures handwritten
notes and simultaneously records and links the audio to the
notes.

PopCap Games (http://www.popcapcom) has released Plants vs. Zombies,
a new, humorous action strategy game for the Mac and PC. It’s
designed for players of all ages and costs US$19.95. Plants vs.
Zombies onceived and designed by George Fan, senior game designer at
PopCap’s San Francisco studio and the creator of Insaniquarium.

Here’s how the game is described: “Plants vs. Zombies pits you
against legions of invading zombies bent on overwhelming your lawn
