Adobe unveils BrowserLab in free preview for web designers

Adobe has unveiled a free preview of Adobe BrowserLab, a new hosted
service that enables web designers to view and test their sites on a
wide variety of browsers and operating systems.

Previously code-named Meer Meer, Adobe BrowserLab provides web
professionals with real-time accurate screenshots of browser
renderings and includes multiple viewing and diagnostic tools to help
designers pinpoint compatibility issues that can compromise the
design and layout integrity of a web site or page, according to Lea
Hickman, director, Creative Solutions Business Unit at Adobe.

Cocktail 4.3.4 (Leopard Edition) has been released

Cocktail 4.3.4 (Leopard Edition), a general purpose utility for Mac
OS X, has been released (http://cocktail.maintain.se). This version
adds clearing of Renepo.A, Renepo.B and Tored.A trojans, fixes
compatibility issues with Mac OS X 10.5.7, Firefox and Google Gears
as well as addresses minor bug fixes discovered in the previous
release. It also contains updated Automator actions.

LTB ships LTB Light 8.0 for Mac OS X

LTB Soft has announced LTB Light 8.0 (http://www.ltblight.com), an
update of the US$299 Mac OS X application that permits natural and
artificial lighting calculation with a color radiosity method applied
to a finite elements plan.

LTB Light implements OpenGL. Data management take places through an
internal CAD system, directly in a perspective view. It’s possible to
introduce flatten surfaces with colored glazing, furniture, curved
surfaces like cylinders, cones, ellipsoids, hyperboloids and complex
objects like cross vaults.

Notepad, the Mac OS X application that helps users organize text. The
upgrade sports: user interface improvements, a new mail note feature,
a new categories source list; and support for multiple selection of
notes.
