OtterBox (http://www.otterbox.com) has introduced two new cases for
the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS: the Commuter and Commuter TL Series.
Fusing elements from the Defender and Impact Series, the cases were
designed to “highlight the true beauty of the iPhone in three
slender, yet sturdy layers,” according to the folks at OtterBox.

First, a self-adhering screen cover protects from scratches, while
the touch screen remains completely functional. Second, a silicone
skin wraps over the device to protect corners from bump and shock.
Dust intrusion is reduced with the use of silicone plugs over audio
port and dock connector. Finally, a smooth, one-piece, custom molded
polycarbonate shell hugs tightly around the silicone allowing the
case to easily into a pocket or purse. The new Commuter Series offers
optional, interchangeable color shells and the Commuter TL comes in a
variety of color choices.

Both Commuter and Commuter TL Series cases come with a microfiber
cleaning cloth and installation card for application of the
self-adhering screen. Both cost US$34.95.
