MacPractice (http://www.macpractice.com) — the developer of
MacPractice MD, MacPractice DDS, MacPractice DC, and MacPractice
20/20 — has announced an update to MacPractice EMR (Electronic
Medical Records). MacPractice MD with EMR is a single-vendor fully
integrated EMR and practice management solution designed for Mac OS
X.

With updated MacPractice EMR, doctors can record patient visits with
procedure code(s) and diagnoses for review by their biller who may
approve and post the charges with a few clicks.

Native Instruments has released Massive Expansion Vol. 2
(http://www.native-instruments.com/Massiveexpansion2.info), an US$59
Kore SoundPack based on the Massive engine. The library features 200
cutting-edge synthesizer sounds for use in Kore 2 and the free Kore
Player as well as the individual Massive synthesizer.

Massive Expansion Vol. 2 covers the sonic spectrum from leads and
basses to pads and sequenced sounds. All sounds are equipped with
eight morphing-capable Sound Variations per preset, with sound
parameters assigned to the unified Kore user interface.

Imagine Products (http://www.ImagineProducts.com/) has released
ShotPut Pro, an US$89 automated offload application. The Pro edition
offloads any video media including Panasonic P2 and AVCHD cards, Sony
SxS, RED ONE and other digital media cards in a single application.
ShotPut Pro may also be used with any removable media such as CF,
SD, or other memory cards for digital still photography.

It’s available for Mac and Windows systems.

Speck (http://www.SpeckProducts.com) has released SeeThru and Fitted
cases for MacBooks, MacBook Pros and MacBook Airs.

Fitted is the first of its kind and is a fabric covered, form-fit
hard shell case available in several stylish variations, says Speck
CEO Irene Baran. The Fitted, which launched for iPhone 3G last week,
feels soft to the touch, and offers custom-fit contours and openings
to allow access to all controls and ports.

Prices range from US$69.95 to $99.95. New styles and patterns will
also be announced seasonally.

Cocoatech (http://www.cocoatech.com) has updated PathFinder, a file
browser and manager for Mac OS X, to version 5.0. It’s a major
rewrite that leverages the latest Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”)
technologies, including Core Animation, FSEvents, Coverflow,
Quicklook, ObjC-2.0, and more.

Path Finder 5 now includes a Dual Pane file browser. A user can
display two folders side by side in the same window, and easily Drag
and Drop, Cut, Copy, and Paste files between the two.
