Malkinware has introduced Reference Tracker 1.0

manager and research tool for Mac OS X. Reference Tracker documents
store all the citations and references in an essay, research project,
or book and automatically creates Harvard or APA formatted reference
lists when needed.

Features include lookup of book details using ISBN numbers or
keywords, integration with Pages and Word, single-click extraction
for references from web pages, built-in sticky notes, and more.

Toon Boom Animation Inc. today announced the launch of Toon Boom
Studio 4.5 and its Toon Boom Studio Importer to Flash (TBSi). This
latest version widens the animation possibilities by enabling users
to create photo animation and live-action cartooning. Additional new
features include a better integration with Photoshop files, extended
ease of use, the ability to print, more export options to iTunes and
YouTube as well as the import of Flip Boom and Animation-ish
projects.

Obvious Matter (http://www.obviousmatter.com) has updated
DiskLibrary, a media cataloging application for Mac OS X, to version
1.8.1. The upgrade improves support for importing DiskTracker export
files and adds support for Flash video (.flv) files. It also fixes
some bugs.

DiskLibrary catalogs not just your complete file structure, it also
creates thumbnails, and stores metadata, for most popular media
formats. DiskLibrary is capable of importing export formats from
CDFinder, FileFinder, WhereIsIt and DiskTracker.

DiskLibrary 1.8.1 is available to order for US$39.

Reinda (http://www.reinda.de), a German-based company, has announced
a line of “iMac Carry-on Pockets” for transporting 20 and 24-inch
iMacs. They have a black design made out of “hard-wearing fabric”
that offers protection against moving around. These pockets are
produced in eumuenster and wear the sign ” made in Germany”.

They’re designed to be light, waterproof and well-padded. A should
strap enables you to transport the iMac on your shoulder.
