RiffRumble 12 Online Song Contest for RiffWorks uses puts out

Sonoma Wire Works has announced the RiffRumble 12 Online Song Contest
(http://www.riffworld.com/riffrumble/rr12 )with up to US$2,500 in
prizes for the best songs made with RiffWorks.

Prizes include up to four IK Multimedia Total Guitar & Bass Gear
Bundles and Drummerheads InstantDrummer Sessions. Contestants
worldwide will record songs on their own or team up into virtual
bands of two to four musicians and record songs together online.

The XPJ Personal Entertainment Projector (PEP)

portable digital video projector designed for use

The US$279 XPJ PEP projects an image as large as
70 inches and can be connected to any iPod, Xbox,

just about any video system. As an option
accessory, the PEP’s audio-out jack allows

Cocktail (Leopard Edition) updated to version 4.1.4

Cocktail 4.1.4 (Leopard Edition), a general purpose utility for Mac
OS X, has been released. It’s a maintenance update that contains a
lot of under-the-hood optimizations and improvements in a variety of
areas.

For example, the application file size has been reduced by over 50
percent. There are updated Automator actions and improvements in
Adobe font cache clearance. The update also ddresses compatibility
issues with FAT32 volumes

Cocktail 4.1.4 (Leopard Edition) is distributed as a Universal Binary
and runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.

Episode Series desktop media encoding products have expanded to offer
cross-platform compatibility. With new support for both Mac OS X and
Windows Episode and Episode Pro applications encode media to
virtually every video and audio file format.

Episode provides an encoding toolset designed to simplify content
repurposing for distribution to the growing number of digital media
channels such as web, DVD, IPTV, mobile phones and portable devices.
