version 1.3.0 of WebYap, its online CMS. The
upgrade sports a new Image Gallery Element (with
Lightbox support), a new editable menu and
various enhancements and fixes.

With the new Image Gallery Element web designers
can offer their customers a way to update the
photo galleries in their web sites. With the
Lightbox support WebYep’s Image Gallery also

SanDisk announces 32GB Extreme III CF card

SanDisk (http://www.sandisk.com) has announced the 32GB SanDisk
Extreme III CompactFlash (CF) card, the latest addition to its
SanDisk Extreme III line. It’s designed for professional digital
videographers and photographers.

The 32GB SanDisk Extreme III CF card operates at 30 megabytes per
second. It benefits professional photographers, who often shoot
strictly in RAW format, says Susan Park, director of consumer product
marketing for SanDisk’s performance cards. RAW images demand up to
10times as much space as regular JPG images.

‘iFixIt’ posts photos of new iPod internals

iFixit (http://www.ifixit.com) has posted the first internal photos
of Apple’s new iPod nano and iPod touch. The disassembly reveals the
previously unknown presence of BlueTooth in the iPod Touch. The
photos and accompanying commentary for the iPod Nano 4th Gen. and new
iPod Touch 2nd Gen. are available online immediately.

The disassembly includes high-res photos of the internals of both
devices. The folks at iFixit say that Apple did some clever things
with the iPod touch speaker. It’s 0.2mm thin and mounted directly on
the metal backplate.
