Chronos LC has released F10 Launch Studio 2.0, a new Mac OS X tool
for launching applications. According to Robert McCullough, vice
president of development at Chronos, it has a zero setup
automatically finds all applications.

Launch Studio 2.0 sports a Smart Search that “intelligently and
adaptively” finds applications. A document sidebar shows related
application documents. Multiple docks can be customized with favorite
applications. Launch Studio 2.0 has editable shortcuts for custom
application launching, an animated interface and a redesigned
interface.

Mudbug Software (http://www.mudbugsoftware.com/ ) has introduced
Webify 1.0, an image editing utility for Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”).
Serving as an image browser, Webify was specifically developed as a
productivity tool to help prepare images for the web.

With it you can resize, scale, rotate and flip many images at once
and save them in JPEG, JPEG 2000, PNG, PDF, PSD, or TIFF format. By
leveraging the power of Core Image filters built into Leopard, users
may alter the Exposure, Gamma, Saturation, Brightness, Contrast,
Sharpness, and Sepia of images in batch or one at a time.

XChange International (http://www.xchangeuk.com) has released
ProScale and Xcatalog XTensions for QuarkXPress 8. Xcatalog is a free
update for Xcatalog 6/7 users. Users can upgrade to ProScale for
QuarkXPress 8 for US$94 and will receive versions compatible with
QuarkXPress 7 and QuarkXPress 8.

ProScale offers users the ability to resize items, groups or entire
documents with a single click.

SA International (SAi) — a provider of solutions for the
professional sign making, digital printing and CAD/CAM for CNC
machining Industries — has released PhotoPRINT Family 6 for
Macintosh.

The PhotoPRINT Family of products is designed to give customers
solutions tailored to different workflow environments. Small to
medium production users can choose from either PhotoPRINT SE or DX,
engineered specially for their Mac OS 10.4 or 10.5 systems.

Open Door Networks and Project A say they’ve
enhanced their line of “Envi” iPhone and iPod
touch applications by shipping three new apps,
plus a major upgrade to the iEnvision web-image
browser, on which the line is based.

The new Art Envi Deluxe (US$2.99) is an “endless
art museum in your pocket.” It begins where Art
Envi leaves off, with new features and access to
additional artists and works. The app features
“shows” by almost 100 new artists, with artists
now organized both alphabetically and by period.
