Fractured Software (http://www.fracturedsoftware.com) has updated
Rondo, its MIDI player for Mac OS X, to version 2.8. The upgrade has
a number of interface improvements, an integrated help file and the
ability to specify the absolute rate at which a MIDI file plays.

Rondo features a vertical piano roll with live scrolling and a
horizontal playing piano so that you can follow the music even if you
can’t read music scores. Looping controls enable you to continuously
repeat the same section of music. Rate controls allow you to adjust
the music to the tempo you need.

Rondo is priced at US$25, though version 2.8 is a free update for
registered users. It requires Mac OS X 10.3 or higher. It’s Universal
Binary so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.
