Blue Crowbar Software (http://www.bluecrowbar.com) has released
TrackRecord 1.2, a new version of their software designed to import
and store data from Polar heart-rate monitors. The upgrade adds
support for the Polar F6 Fitness model. It also implements an
improved system for decoding the data from the supported Polar
devices.

The software uses your Mac’s microphone to record the heart-rate
monitor’s audio signal and arranges the results in tables and charts.
The data can also be exported to Excel, Numbers or OpenOffice.

TrackRecord requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher and a Mac with a
built-in iSight or an external microphone. Two licenses are offered.

A full license is available for 24.75 EUR (approximately US$35) and
offers data import from the Polar RS200, RS200sd, CS200, CS200cad and
F6 models. The Full License is free for registered users. A fitness
license costs 15.95 EUR (approximately $22) and offers data import
from the Polar F6 model. A demo is available for download.
