WebMerge 2.4.2, Universal Binary

LOS ANGELES, California – 29 January, 2007 Fourth World today
released 4W WebMerge 2.4.2, an update to its popular tool for Mac OS
and Windows that generates static Web pages from database or
spreadsheet data. The new Mac version is now available in Universal
Binary format for native performance on new Intel-based Macs as well
as older PowerPC models.

WebMerge works with any database or spreadsheet that exports in
tab-delimited, merge, or other tabular formats, including FileMaker

UK problems with Airport Extreme

Apple’s new Airport Extreme offers both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bandwidth for greater speed, but this may be a problem for users in the UK, reports Macworld UK. “In the US the new AirPort Extreme is up to five times faster than its predecessor. However, in the UK (as well as Japan, Austria, Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Slovakia, and Spain) the device is just 2.5 times faster. The reason for the lag is UK government regulatory restrictions that prohibit wide-channel operation.
