DEFCON Freeplay Weekend announced

Introversion Software and Ambrosia Software have announced its plans for a DEFCON freeplay long-weekend in conjunction with the Penny Arcade Expo. The event will take place on Friday, August 24th at 2:00 p.m. (18:00 GMT) and run until Monday, August 27th at 6:00 a.m. ET (06:00 GMT). During this time, DEFCON will be free for all to play. Photoshop World open to public for one day

Organizers of Photoshop World Conference & Expo, scheduled September 6-8 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino Convention Center in Las Vegas, will be opening its Tech Expo, the largest in the history of the conference, to the public for one day only on Friday, September 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A free Tech Expo pass (US$20 value) can be downloaded in advance from the Web site. Photoshop World Conference & Expo registration is $699 for the general public and $599 for current NAPP members.
