Equinux has announced the next generation of VPN Tracker, its VPN client for Mac OS X. Before the official release date, equinux is inviting experienced VPN users to test VPN Tracker 5 Beta. All applicants will need to provide equinux with the technical specifications for their VPN setup as part of the application process.

Apple has posted GarageBand 3.0.5, which the company says offers compatibility with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. GarageBand is part of iLife ‘08 and allows users to create their own personal recording studio at home.
