ATTO Technology today announced that it is continuing its iSCSI development efforts for Mac OS X environments by providing new releases for its Xtend SAN iSCSI Initiator for Mac OS X and iPBridge product lines. The combination of ATTO’s Xtend SAN iSCSI initiator for Mac OS X and iSCSI storage interface bridges allows users to create a heterogeneous SAN that combines Apple storage and servers with other, non-Apple storage. Additionally, they act as a key enabler for applications such as remote backup/disaster recovery and collaborative workflows.
