DEVONtechnologies today released Desktop Transporter 2.5, its remote desktop solution. Version 2.5 adds a number of features that have been requested by users: bookmarks make it easy to connect to remote Macs that are not located on the local area network and available via Bonjour; fully supports NAT-PMP for automatically configuring the necessary port forwarding allows sharing desktops right away at boot time or when users log in, and it fixes a common problem with Parallels Desktop 3.0 and the additional virtual network connections it installs. Desktop Transporter 2.5 requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 later, priced at US$29.95.
