Information Appliance Associates (IAA) today released their free widget, PocketMac Gas Pump Genie, allowing Mac users to discover the best gas prices in their neighborhood. “We’re very excited,” said Tim Goggin, VP of Sales & Marketing for IAA. “With the price of gas skyrocketing, we thought we’d give back to the Mac community who have been so good to us by helping them save as much money as possible. That’s why we created this widget.” Starting today, Mac users will be able to download PocketMac Gas Pump Genie, which allows users to search by zip code for the best regular or diesel gas prices in their area. This should prove especially useful to people planning July 4th road trips.
